TerraStrong Protective Coatings
TerraStrong protective coatings are used to protect exposed surfaces. Primarily for use over TerraStrong closed-cell spray polyurethane foam (ccSPF), our coatings can also be used over metal, wood, or concrete to extend the life of wearing surfaces. No more replacing wood decking in roofs, concrete entry pads, or degraded tin-roof panels.
TerraStrong protective coatings can be pigmented to match a variety of colors, including sand, tan, green, and white. Most meet the requirements of Energy Star® and have been tested for severe hail and wind uplift by Factory Mutual (FM). Depending on the application and environmental conditions, different types of coatings are used to provide specific levels of protection. Acrylic based coatings are perfect for general-purpose conditions, and require little maintenance. Silicone-based materials offer superior weather resistance and a wider application window. Polyurethane-based coatings provide exceptional abrasion and weather resistance where extended life under harsh conditions is a concern.
